GongGam THRI gave a presentation on the work of Korean CSO TF team on Laos dam failure at a press conference during Mekong and ASEAN Environmental Week in Bangkok:
GongGam THRI has been participating as an active member of Korean Civil Society T.F. team, responding to the disastrous Xe Pian-Xe Namnoy dam failure in Laos built by SK E&C with Korean government’s financial sponsorship.
At the press conference as part of Mekong and ASEAN Environmental Week, Attorney Yae-Ahn Park of THRI gave a presentation on the works of Korean civil societies on Laos dam failure as well as the non-judicial grievance mechanisms employed.
