Within this system, we are pushing for transparency and accountability in the self-governing bodies, focusing on issues such as excessive payment of officers, irresponsible budgeting and procurement practices, and unreasonable perks in the form of officers¡¯ overseas training that more resemble personal holiday tours. We have taken on litigation in various regions and are involved in public education in regards to resident participation in the self-governing bodies.
